The Littlest Hobo
“Maybe tomorrow I’ll want to settle down, Until tomorrow I’ll just keep moving on”.
A theme tune that brings back memories of childhood was extended and turned into a sing-a-long for this DVD release.
The Canadian TV show follows a German Shepherd called London who wanders from town to town, helping people in need. The Littlest Hobo is fondly known to all those of us who spent our childhoods in the 80s.
In addition to creating the sing-a-long for the DVD, we designed menus, encoded the video, authored DVDs and QC’d the first series; taking a little trip down memory lane along the way.
More product information about The Littlest Hobo DVD can be found on the Mediumrare website.

Hi Kay,
The UK release is All Region, meaning (funnily enough) it will play in all regions.
The DVDs are NTSC format not PAL, as we used the original masters from Canada.
For more on region coding and television standards, read page 3 of our DVD Authoring Guide.

Great work on these Littlest Hobo seasons, do you know if the next seasons are going to be released by Medium Rare also? I ask because I’m not sure if it is the best selling show ever and sometimes only a couple of seasons of a show get released before it becomes a profitless endeavour. I hope you do continue to release them, thanks for your time.

Hi Chris,
Season 2 is available from Amazon http://tiny.cc/4ezzj
You are right, future releases from Mediumrare will depend on how profitable the current releases of Seasons 1&2 are. We are also hoping we get to author the future seasons (3,4,5 & 6). Fingers crossed!

Hi Will. I was was wondering if you also do the packaging for these?
There has been some problems in transit from the discs banging around and coming off of the button holders, as has happened to me as well as another poster at amazon U.K.
There is a clear case available that mounts the discs on each side and does not require the center flipper, all that would be needed is a thick enough piece of foam in between to press against the the discs and prevent them from coming lose and falling off during transit.

Hi Tim,
We don’t do the packaging, we make the masters that go to the factory. I will make Mediumrare aware of the problem, thank you for taking the time to post.

Thanks
